Well 2014 was a pretty awesome year (for the blog, well, not so much). We had told Evie she could stay up until midnight, so we sent 2014 on its way by watching the NY Times Square ball drop (we thought that watching it live would make it so we could go to bed 2-hours earlier... Evie called our bluff though) and then lighting some sparklers... as it snowed. Pretty awesome, albeit cold.
The next morning we woke up to a snow covered catalinas (and tortilitas and rincons). It was positively beautiful!
