Little dancer

Here are some belated pictures of Evie's second ever big dance performance.  It was two days of rehearsals on stage and two days of performance.  Lucky for me we have a friend who not only brought his camera to the Saturday night performance but took some pretty great pics of Evie too!!  The first is from her tap dance routine to rubber ducky and the second is from Swan Lake.  The whole dance studio participated in the Swan Lake portion of the ballet with the littlest ones starting out the dance with a little routine showing them waking to the new day and then periodically "leaping" across the stage at key moments.  It was really well done.  What wasn't so well done was my attempt at a ballerina bun, as evidenced by all of the hair of her's that you can see in these pictures :)  (For Sunday's performance Patrick just sent her into the dressing room and the head of the studio, a very seasoned maker of buns on difficult hair, made her look truly ballerina-esque)
